Ph.D. Students
The School of Mathematical Sciences has excellent programs for Ph.D. students in Mathematics, Statistcs and Operations Research.
The focus of the Ph.D. programs is to carry out independent reserach under the guidance of one of the School's faculty members. In addition, students are required to take a modest number of advanced courses.
Students interested in a Ph.D. program should begin by seeking a supervisor for their dissertation research. The full study program will be set by the supervisor so as to best prepare the student to engage in advanced research.
