Study Programs

Degree programs in Statistics and Operations Research are available at the undergraduate, M.Sc. and Ph. D. levels. There are currently about 65 undergraduate students , 120 M.Sc. students and 20 doctoral students. The department offers a variety of undergraduate programs. Students can take a single major in statistics and operations research or a joint major with another subject.

Single/Joint Major Program

The single major program provides students with a broad background in statistics and operations research, along with  a strong background in mathematics. The joint major program enables students to combine an excellent background in quantitative methods with studies   in a second field.

Frequent second majors include economics, business, computer science, mathematics and psychology. Students in mathematics can also elect either statistics or operations research as an area of concentration.
