Prof Mark Karliner from the Department of Particle Physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy
Prof. Marek Karliner, a high-energy theoretical physicist, is elected Fellow of the IPS, for his contribution to the spectroscopy of hadrons, especially his predictions of the masses of multi-quark states, predictions that played a role in the discoveries of these states in the Large Hadron Collider and for his contributions to science in Israel as chair of the high energy committee.
