These three faculty members joined the School of Physics and Astronomy this year
Dr. Liron Barak, from the Department of Particle Physics has received an ISF equipment grant to upgrade the hardware of the ATLAS detector in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva.
Dr. Yoav Lahini of the Department of Condensed Matter Physics has received an ISF equipment grant to perform tomography and advanced mechanical characterization of materials.
Dr. Moshe Ben Shalom of the Department of Condensed Matter Physics has received an ISF equipment grant for a system for measuring physical properties of two-dimensional materials at low temperatures.
