Congratulations to the Israeli National Team to the International Mathematics Competition

The Israeli National Team to the International Mathematics Competition that was held in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, was ranked three among 73 teams. The team was composed of six members: Dean Hirsch, Yoav Krauz, Amotz Oppenheim and Omri Solan from Tel Aviv University, and Asael Reiter and Nitzan Tur from the Technion. The members of the team secured their participation by winning the Israeli Mathematics Competition, which took place in March 2015 at Tel Aviv University and was financed by Final Israel Ltd.

 

In the personal ranking, Omri Solan was ranked 4-5 among 326 participants, Amotz Oppenheim was ranked 6, Yoav Krauz was ranked 7-8, Dean Hirsch was ranked 19, Nitzan Tur was ranked 43-44, and Asael Reiter was ranked 65-69.

 

The team's trainer and leader is Lev Radzivilivsky, a Ph.D. student at the School of Mathematical Sciences at Tel Aviv University.
