The Israeli team won the International Mathematics Competition

The Israeli team to the International Mathematics Competition that took place between 25-30 July 2020 ranked first among 96 teams. The team members had impressive individual ranks: among 546 participants, ten obtained grand first prizes, including Shvo Regavim (Tel Aviv University, ranked 2), Noam Ta-Shma (Tel Aviv University, ranked 3-5), Ohad Sheinfeld (Bar Ilan; ranked 6-7), and Roee Sinai (Tel Aviv University, ranked 9). 107 participants obtained first prize, including Lior Hadassi (Tel Aviv University, ranked 22) and Omer Bojan (Tel Aviv University, ranked 55-60). The School of Mathematical Sciences congratulates the team members for their impressive achievements, and the team leader, an alumni of the school, Dan Carmon.
