Tenure-Track Position at the School of Chemistry, Tel Aviv University

The School of Chemistry in Tel Aviv University is seeking applications for a tenure track Senior Lecturer (Assistant Prof.) position. We are looking for outstanding early-career researchers with proven scientific achievements and a strong research program, to establish an independent, world-class research group of the highest caliber.

 

Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Chemistry or related areas, have two or more years of experience as postdocs, and demonstrate a very strong research record. This search is broad and extends across all fields of Chemistry. We especially encourage researchers' involvement in research related to energy & environmental science; however, we consider equally candidates with the highest possible excellence.

 

Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to research and teaching. They are expected to conduct active and innovative research, to develop and teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and to supervise MSc and PhD students. The standard language of instruction is Hebrew, however courses for graduate studies are given an English as well as a few select courses for the undergraduates. Therefore, there is room for non-Hebrew speakers.
