Research

Since 1993: Materials under High Pressure:

  • Synchrotron X-ray diffraction

  • Electrical transport and Mössbauer spectroscopy investigation

  • Pressure-Induced Electronic and Magnetic Transitions in Strongly Correlated Systems

  • Structural Aspects of such Transitions (Insulator-Metal Transition, High Spin – Low Spin Crossover, etc.)

1971-1992:

  • Structure of HTSC-materials and influence of the structure heterogeneity’s on the material properties

  • Sub-surface structure evolution during external impacts on crystal

  • Investigation of the diamond-like films deposited from ion beams and the conditions of carbon-diamond equilibrium for small crystallites

  • Evolution of the radiation defect system in crystals

  • Decomposition of solid solution on the basis of Alkali Halide single crystals

  • Thin solid films on insulator substrates: development of the vacuum decoration method for the investigation of the impurities and radiation defects
