Abstract:
We explore the use of advanced deep learning methods for the purpose of improving the tau trigger algorithms in ATLAS. In this talk, I will present two methods, a CNN acting on the calorimeter data in an image like way, and a DeepSet network operating on a space-point data arranged as a graph.
