Abstract:

The inclusive production of four prompt leptons in proton-proton interactions at the LHC constitutes  the golden channel for Higgs studies. The same final state may be produced as the result of two Drell-Yan processes (two lepton production) occurring simultaneously in one proton-proton interaction. In order to address this possibility, a topological analysis of the four-lepton final states was performed on data collected by the ATLAS experiment at center of mass energy of 13 TeV.  The study and the preliminary results will be presented in this talk.
