High Energy Theory Group Meeting: A simple approach towards the sign problem in lattice field theory

Abstract:

While lattice field theory simulations can be used for obtaining non-perturbative information about various field theories, in some cases this is obstructed by the sign problem: a situation in which the computational complexity of lattice simulations becomes exponential.

In this talk I will present the sign problems and an approach towards its resolution.
