Lightning, Airglow and Aurora from Space

The above video also show lightning from space, but in addition the green airglow layer that surrounds the Earth at around 90 km altitude, and the green Aurora Borealis that occurs in the polar regions at higher altitudes.  All these phenomena are studied in our department.
