As part of the setting up of new topical IPS divisions, management of topical sessions (including abstract selection) will be handles by the 5 new divisions that are already operating:
- Astrophysics, Planetary and Space Science (APSS)
- Atomic and Molecular (AMO)
- Condensed Matter physics (CM)
- Non-Linear and biophysics
- Particle and high-energy physics
Members who do not consider their work to be within the domains of the above divisions, are invited to submit abstracts under the heading
- Additional Physical Disciplines
Based on the abstracts received, additional topical sessions will be set up by the organizers.
We also plan to hold special sessions on
- Physics in industry
- Physics in education
And additional special sessions are considered, stay tuned.
