Galia completed her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) at The Technion in 1996, and her M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering at The Technion in 1999.
After that, Galia worked with Cisco Systems for 12 years. In 2013-2019 Galia did her Ph.D. at the School of Electrical Engineering at Tel-Aviv University under the supervision of Prof. Yuval Shavitt and Prof. Danny Raz (from the Technion) on solving combinatorial problems with stochastic demands.
Following that Galia had a one year post-doc with Prof. Yuval Shavitt, and is currently doing a post-doc with Prof. Michal Feldman, focusing on mechanism design and algorithmic game theory.
