June 2022: "DMCI After Dark": Utilizing AI for Primary Healthcare
DMCI After Dark event took place on June 22 2022 at 6PM, at Mixer house, Convention Center, TLV.
On June 22 2022 the second Digital Medicine After Dark event took place at MIXER House, TLV Convention Center. The event, titled "Utilizing AI for Primary Healthcare" started with a reception at the courtyard, which allowed networking while enjoying good food. More than 150 participants from academia, industry and hospitals participated in the event.
The event was opened by Udi Goori, General Manager, Anthem Israel, and led by Dr. Vaisbuch. The program included the speakers Dr. Pini Akiva, CEO at KI Research Institute, who talked about "Impact driven research using primary care data: expectations vs reality", Israel Roth, CTO & Co-Founder at K Health who talked about "Access to healthcare - a first-world problem", and Dr. Dan Zeltzer, School of Economics, TAU, who talked about "Adoption and utilization of device-assisted telemedicine".
The event is a continuation of the Digital Medicine Community in Israel (DMCI) initiative. The first highly successful DMCI conference took place last summer, with the aim bringing together the top minds sharing a common vision of creating an academic and industry community, that works towards advancing data science in the medical world. Another even larger conference is planned for Fall 2022.
The DMCI scientific committee included Prof. Ron Shamir, Head of the Edmond J. Safra Center, Dr. Dvir Aran of the Technion, Prof. Ron Unger of Bar-Ilan University, Prof. Michal Linial of the Hebrew University and Dr. Yona Vaisbuch of Rambam Medical Center. The technical organization and hosting was conducted by Anthem Israel.
