About the Department

Welcome to the web page of the Department of Particle Physics in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Tel Aviv University.

 

Members of the department conduct research in theoretical and experimental particle physics, nuclear physics, and other fields of interest to the faculty. Our research covers a broad range of topics at the forefront of the field, and takes advantage of the membership of our researchers in international facilities around the world. The Department has about 15 full-time faculty members, plus emeritus faculty who maintain a high level of research activity, graduate students, staff researchers and postdocs from around the world. The department welcomes international researchers and graduate students.

 

The current head of the department is Prof. Tomer Volansky.
