July 2022: Six Edmond J. Safra researchers awarded ISF grants

Congratulations to Edmond J. Safra members and affiliates Profs. Karen Avraham (Medicine), Ran Gilad-Bachrach (Engineering), Ron Shamir (Computer Science), David Sprinzak, Adi Stern, and Dr. Iftach Nachman (Life Sciences), who were all awarded research grants from the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) in the 2022-2023 grants cycle.

 

Prof. Karen Avraham won the ISF grant in the program of "Groundbreaking research" that is awarded to exceptionally innovative proposals for advancing ambitious basic research, with significant potential impact.

 

Prof. Ran Gilad-Bachrach won a personal research grant and an additional equipment grant.

 

The ISF is the main body supporting basic science research in Israel, through a wide variety of funding mechanisms and in a variety of fields of knowledge. The support is based on scientific excellence.
