April 2022: Ben-David wins Krill Prize

Congratulations to Dr. Uri Ben-David, Edmond J. Safra affiliate (Medicine), who won the prestigious Krill Prize for 2022. 

The Krill prize, funded by the Krill family, is awarded each year to ten leading untenured researchers at Israeli universities, for excellence in scientific research. Recipients are selected by the Wolf Foundation Scholarship Committee.

Dr. Uri Ben-David's research focuses on cancer genetics, and specifically on the presence of an abnormal number of chromosomes in cancer cells, and the potential of exploiting this trait to selectively target cancer cells and eliminate tumors. His research combines advanced experimental and computational approaches.
